Founded in 2021, Anchor Co-Living provides recuperative care and medical respite housing, Enhanced Care Management, and housing transition and tenancy support to Medi-Cal members under California’s CalAIM initiative. The company operates homes across Northern and Southern California and is contracted with Medi-Cal managed care plans including Kaiser Permanente, Anthem Blue Cross Partnership Plan, Partnership HealthPlan of California, Contra Costa Health Plan, Molina Healthcare of California, L.A. Care Health Plan, Mountain Valley Health Plan, and Health Plan of San Joaquin.
“This ranking reflects demand, not marketing. Hospitals across California have patients who are medically ready to leave and nowhere safe to go. CalAIM created a way to pay for the answer, and we built the homes and the operating model to meet it.”
— Andrew Lamb, Founder and CEO, Anchor Co-Living
Recuperative care gives hospitals a discharge option for patients who are medically stable but lack a safe place to recover. Instead of occupying an acute bed or returning to homelessness, the patient moves into a furnished single-family home with meals, utilities, care coordination, and staff on site. Referrals are screened within four business hours.
The Inc. 5000 has ranked America’s fastest-growing private companies annually since 1982. The 2026 class posted a median three-year growth rate of 130% and represents $385.1 billion in combined revenue and 1,452,238 employees. Complete results are available at inc.com/inc5000.
